Armed Forces celebrate Yoga Day

As part of International Yoga Day, various units of Armed Forces in Kerala celebrated the Yoga Day on Monday.

Indian Coast Guard Station (ICG) personnel and families are encouraged to participate in IDY 2021 safely from home. All personnel are directed to download Namste Yoga App to encourage daily practice of Yoga. Afloat units (ICG Ships C-441 and C-427) conducted yoga activities onboard.

Army at Pangode Military Station celebrates 7th edition of International Yoga Day. The theme ‘Yoga for Well-being’ reverberated in the station as the soldiers and their families actively practiced ‘Asanas’ for physical and mental well-being.

Officers, Airmen, Civilians and families of Southern Air Command (SAC) celebrated Yoga Day at home through online platform. Air Force Wives Welfare Association (AFWWA) will conduct one hour online yoga class for the next one week.

Staff and Cadets of Sainik School, Kazhakootam celebrated Yoga Day at their respective home.

Under the aegis of NCC, Kerala and Lakshadweep Directorate, NCC units observed Yoga Day virtually. Various NCC units conducted webinar in connection with yoga and live yoga sessions throughout Kerala.
