New Delhi: It is decided to increase the air surveillance in the background of the continuous provocation of China across the border by bringing in more helicopters. India put forward instruction to conduct a commander level meeting.
India already decided to deploy more flights in the Northeast region. Various types of aircrafts are trained to take off in the difficult mountainous eastern region and launch a powerful attack against the enemy. They train to face the enemy through thick fog and high mountains.
On December 9, China attempted to invade the Line of Actual Control in the Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh. The Chinese army came with a piece of wood with nails and taser guns. But Indian troops foiled the move to occupy the area at a height of 17,000 feet. 15 Chinese soldiers were injured due to strong defence by the Indian Army. Earlier, the Indian Army had chased away more than 300 Chinese soldiers who tried to cross the Galvan model border. But it is reported that the tension in the area is still continuing.
