Srinagar: Amid escalating tensions, the Indian Army has given a strong warning to terrorists entering Kashmir saying that no terrorists will go back alive. The Army’s ultimatum demanded that the terrorists lay down their guns and surrender or face being killed.
The Army issued the warning in a joint press conference with Jammu and Kashmir Police, and Central Reserve Police Force.
Lt. Gen Dhillon, Corps Commander while giving the statement said that Mothers of the terrorists must appeal to their children to lay down their weapons and join the mainstream. He said that any terrorist who comes to Kashmir will not go back.
He reminded Pakistan and the terrorists that within 100 hours the leadership of JeM in Kashmir was killed. He was referring to the elimination of Abdul Rashid Ghazi and Kamran.
However, four Indian soldiers were martyred in the encounter.
