Bear Grylls the host of ‘Man vs Wild’ took to twitter, today, to announce that the episode with Modi beat ‘Super Bowl 53’ which had 3.4 billion social impressions on Twitter. The episode was aired in 108 countries on 12 August and became the most viewed program in the world when it was telecast.
‘Man vs Wild’ follows survival expert and environmentalist, Bear Grylls as he tries to survive tough and challenging wild terrains. Grylls is a former SAS service personnel, the special forces of the British Army.
Narendra Modi revealed a more personal side during his adventure with the ace survival expert. He spoke about his early life and how he travelled the Himalayas during his younger days.
The Prime Minister told that he overcomes fear by being internally positive. He also spoke about cleanliness and the conservation of nature and environment.
Before the telecast Modi said, ” “For years, I have lived among nature, in the mountains and the forests. These years have a lasting impact on my life. So when I was asked about a special programme focussing on life beyond politics and that too in the midst of nature I was both intrigued and inclined to take part in it.”
He also had told that the episode will help people want to visit different parts of India and also add to the discourse of environmental conservation.
