Mumbai [Maharashtra]: As actor Varun Dhawan and fashion designer Natasha Dalal got married on Sunday, Bollywood is pouring in wishes and blessings for the duo.
Starting with Karan Johar who penned an emotional note for Varun and Natasha, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Kiara Ali Advani, Rakul Preet Singh and many others joined the club. The wedding pictures of the amazing couple have already taken over the internet.
Sharing the picture of the newly wed, Director Karan Johar wrote, “I am filled with a multitude of emotions and memories as I write this post! I still remember meeting this kid in goa! Long hair, big dreams in his eyes and a swag that was waiting to explode on celluloid! A few years later he was was my Assistant on MNIK! I silently observed his determined sincerity and also how hilarious he can be …sometimes even unintentionally! When he faced the camera for me for the first time I developed an immediately protective feeling of love and care for him..: almost assuming the role of a parent…. that feeling today came alive in abundance as I saw him walk with his loved one around the holy fire of trust and commitment… my boy is all grown up and ready for this beautiful phase in his life… congratulations my darling Natasha and Varun! The childhood sweethearts tied knot in a private function at the Mansion House, Alibaug on Sunday. The marriage was attended by Varun and Natasha’s industry friends and close family members. The function was organised by celebrity event planner Shaadisquad in a high security environment. Following the policy of Virat-Anushka and Priyanka-Nick marriages, a strict no-mobile policy was adopted in the wedding venue to ensure the privacy of the couple. All the guests had to undergo a Covid 19 test in order to attend the wedding. A counter for sanitizers and masks were also set up in the venue. The sangeet function was hosted by Karan Johar.
According to recent reports, the couple will attend a reception hosted by the duo’s friends on February 2nd at Mumbai.
