Collaborative films between Jeethu Joseph and Mohanlal tend to garner a larger fan following. A prime illustration of this is the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster film ‘Drishyam’. The announcement of their new project together arrives amidst eager anticipation from fans for the third addition to the Drishyam sequel. Presently, their ongoing collaboration film ‘Ram’ is in its final stages of shooting.
Producer Antony Perumbavoor took to social media to share the announcement poster of their latest movie and requested prayers and support from fans with the hashtag #ProductionNo33. However, this update has generated considerable confusion among fans. The announcement poster features production number 33, which also happens to be the 33rd film from Aashirvad Cinemas. Fans are now questioning whether this announcement pertains to Drishyam 3, especially considering that the director had previously hinted at the possibility of a third edition.
Contrary to expectations, it has been clarified that the upcoming film is not Drishyam 3. The crew has disclosed that the shooting for this new movie will commence in August of this year. The collaborative works between Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph include Drishyam, Drishyam 2, Twelfth Man, and Ram, with Ram being divided into two parts. It is speculated that the first part of Ram will be released during Onam season this year.
