Mumbai: Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is all set for his next project titled, “The Kashmir Files”, based on the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus. The shooting of the first schedule will be taken across the UK, USA and Canada soon.
Agnihotri, along with his wife and actress Pallavi Joshi, will be interviewing displaced Kashmiri Pandits, who have now settled far away from their roots.
Talking about the first schedule, Agnihotri said: “I believe that this is the first schedule of ‘The Kashmir Files’ and the most difficult part of the filming process because it involves real people and real stories, which Pallavi and I would capture on camera. Once I get this right, it is a half battle won.”
He also said that the film is being made completely on public demand.
A first look poster of the film was shared by Agnihotri in the month of August where a map of Kashmir was featured in a brunt orange shade with “The right to truth continues” written on it.
