Bharat BioTech seeks permission to conduct nasal Covid-19 vaccine trials

New Delhi: The Bharat BioTech on Friday sent a request to DCGI seeking permission for conducting the trials of the Nasal Vaccine against Covid 19.

“Bharat BioTech sent an application to DCGI for conducting the phase 1 trials of a nasal vaccine against Covid-19”, informed a government official in a statement given to the ANI.

This comes a day after Bharat BioTech announced the successful completion of volunteer enrolment for phase 3 clincal trails.

The DGCI earlier this month had given permission to Covishield- vaccine developed by the SII- and Covaxin by Bharat BioTech for restricted emergency use.
