New Delhi: The Union Health Ministry on Friday said that people can make their own decisions whether to take the Corona vaccine injection. The Health Ministry made it clear that the vaccine developed in India will be as effective as the vaccine developed in other countries.
The antibodies against the corona virus will formed in the body only after taking the second dose of the vaccine. The Ministry said that it is advisable for those who have recovered from Corona to take the full dose of the vaccine to boost their immunity against the virus.
People can decide themselves whether to take the vaccine or not, but it is advisable to get the full dose of the vaccine in order prevent the virus from spreading. People suffering from Cancer, Diabetes and Blood pressure can also take the vaccine, said the Ministry.
The Health Ministry came up with the explanation based on the constant questions that were raised regarding the corona vaccine. The ministry explained a number of questions, including whether the vaccination is mandatory, how many days will take the antibody to form after receiving the vaccine, and whether people who recovered from the disease need to be vaccinated or not.
