Thiruvananthapuram: Accused of Sister Abhaya Murder Case, Fr.Thomas Kottur and Sr. Seffi, sentenced to life imprisonment and fine. The Special CBI Court on Wednesday pronounced the sentence after 28 years of legal battle.
The court on Tuesday had pronounced the final verdict of the longest battled case in the history of Indian Judiciary. Court found the first and third accused, Fr. Thomas and Sister Seffi guilty of crime.
Fr. Thomas has been sentenced to double life imprisonment and a fine of 6 lakhs and Sister Seffi with Life imprisonment and a fine of 5 lakhs.
