Karnataka: In an attempt to create more job opportunities amidst the pandemic, Karnataka is training 1000 nurses in the first batch to be sent the UK as many hospitals in the UK have come forward to provide employment.
“Many hospitals in the UK have come forward to provide employment. We are training 1,000 nurses who are to be sent in the first phase”, said Deputy Chief Minister C N Ashwanth Narayana.
“The UK has fixed an annual salary package of Rs20 lakh. The training is done as a part of an agreement between the Karnataka Skill development department and the UK’s National Health services and Health Education England.
