Kochi: The Kerala High Court on Monday cancelled the bail granted to Taha Fazal the accused in Pantheerankavu UAPA case, and directed him to surrender immediately before the court.
The court’s verdict is on the appeal filed by NIA questioning the bail order by the NIA court. Alan Shuhaib and Taha Fazal, the two accused of the UAPA case, was granted bail by the NIA court on September 7.
Meanwhile Alan’s bail was not cancelled by the court considering his health and the fact that he is a student.
Alan and Taha was arrested by the police on November 1, 2019 under the UAPA and the case was later taken over by the National Investigation Agency.
