The agitating Farmers have clearly stated that they will continue the protest till the new farm laws are repealed by the Government. They have started strengthening the facilities and infrastructure at the borders to prepare for a long stay.

“We are strengthening our communication and other infrastructure to continue the agitation for a long period,” said Deep Khatri associated with managing logistics at the Singhu Border protest site.

They have installed around 100 CCTV cameras at the protest site and are also readying a control room to keep monitoring the movements of people. Over 600 volunteers have been patrolling the protest site to manage the traffic and keep a watch at night. They have been given a dress code and Identity card to easily identify them.
