The new farm laws will bring investments, new technologies and create employment, said Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Addressing a gathering organised by BJP’s youth wing to highlight the salient features of the Union Budget, Pradhan said the Narendra Modi government has empowered the farmers and workers and the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund of Rs 40,000 crore will open new doors for agrarian development.
He urged the BJP leaders to discuss the provisions of Union Budget with the street vendors, various sections of the society to know their aspirations.
The minister’s remark comes in the backdrop of protest by thousands of farmers protesting against the three new farm laws at Delhi borders since November.
