Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences for the loss of lives in a road accident in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool District. In a major road accident, 14 people died and four were injured after a bus and truck collided. The injured are undergoing tteatment in Kurnool Government General hospital.
“The road accident in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district is saddening. In this hour of sadness, my thoughts are with those who lost their loved ones. I hope that the injured recover at the earliest,” PM Modi tweeted.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy instructed the concerned officials to expedite the relief work and medical help. He announced ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh to next of kin of those who lost their lives in the road accident.
