Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that she can’t say when the petrol and diesel prices will be reduced.
“I won’t be able to answer when the petrol and diesel prices will reduce. I agree that Centre earns more from this but everything that the Centre earns, half of it goes to the States,” said Nirmala Sitharaman.
She was addressing an event in Ahmedabad when she was asked about the rising fuel prices in India and when they would reduce.
“The only way to find a solution to this problem is that the Centre and States should hold a dialogue”, she added.
