Kerala BJP Chief Surendran announced that metro man E Sreedharan will be the party’s chief ministerial candidate in the upcoming Kerala Assembly polls.
“I am very confident that people will elect BJP to power. E Sreedharan will be BJP’s Chief Minister Candidate in the upcoming Kerala Assembly Elections. I am expecting a big victory as people know what is good for them and their state,” said Surendran, State BJP Chief.
Surendran announced a 16-member election committee which included E Sreedharan, who recently joined BJP.
The election for 140-member Kerala Assembly is scheduled to be held in a single phase on April 6, 2021. The number of polling booths in Kerala has been extended from 21,498 to 40,771.
