Senior BJP leader Shobha Surendran will contest from Kazhakoottam Assembly Constituency in Tiruvananthapuram.
According to the sources, the party’s central leadership has officially instructed Shobha Surendran to file the nomination. Shobha’s name was not included in the list of candidates which was earlier handed over by the state unit to the central leadership.
Shobha Surendran is expected to reach Tiruvananthapuram on Thursday (March 19) and file her nomination.
