The Uttar Pradesh Government has introduced Air-conditioned electric buses in Lucknow to lessen carbon emission.
“We have introduced 40 electric buses till now in the state and will introduce 700 more across the state in the coming months. The charging stations for these electric buses are under construction,” said Ashutosh Tandon, Urban Development Minister.
The Minister said that the introduction of these electric buses will enhance the infrastructure system of the transport department and would provide an easier way for the locals to commute.
