West Indies batsman Chris Gayle thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Government of India for donating Covid-19 vaccines to his home country, Jamaica.
The cricketer posted a video on twitter thanking PM Modi, people of India and the Government of India.
“Hon’ble PM of India and the people of India, the government of India, I want to thank you for your donation of vaccine to Jamaica, I appreciate it. Thank you so much. India, I will see you soon,” he says.
India is providing Made in India vaccines to many nations across the world under Vaccine Maitri initiative to help them fight against Coronavirus. Jamaica received the vaccine on Monday (March 15).
