Ahead of Assam Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed public rally in Bokakhat on March 21.
At the rally, PM said, “doosri baar, BJP sarkar’. It is now decided that Assam will get ‘double engine’ National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government for the second time.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed the Congress Government and said that they looted Assam.
“The double engine sarkar, NDA has given several facilities like electricity, LPG gas, toilets, and free medical treatment and we are now working towards the availability of water with full force,” said PM Modi.
He also said that BJP had saved rhinos of the state from Congress-backed poachers, by putting them behind bars.
Elections for the 126-seat Assam Assembly are scheduled to take place from March 27 to April 6. The results will be announced on May 2.
