The top leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party are giving final push as today (March 25) is the last day of campaigning for the first phase of elections in West Bengal.
BJP leaders Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and Yogi Adityanath are addressing public rallies in West Bengal while Mithun Chakraborty and Gautam Gambhir will be conducting roadshows.
Amit Shah will be addressing rallies at Purulia, Bankura and Jhargram districts. Rajnath Singh will be campaigning at Kakdwip, Joypur and Taldangra assembly constituencies.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minsiter Yogi Adityanath will campaign at Sagar, Chandrakonand and Nandigram. Mithun Chakraborty will hold his first roadshow at Chhatna in Bankura district. He will also hold roadshows in Saltora and Jhargram.
Cricketer turned politician, Gautam Gambhir will hold a roadshow at the Sonamukhi area of Bankura district and also address public rallies at West Medinipur and Hooghly-Chinsurah constituency.
West Bengal Assembly Election will be held in eight phases starting from March 27 with the final round of voting taking place on April 29. The counting of votes will take place on May 2.
