Defence Minister Rajnath Singh promised that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will bring new law to protect the traditions and practices at the Sabarimala temple.
While addressing a press conference in Kerala, Rajnath Singh said, “We are trying to get a majority in Kerala. If we form the Government here then we will make legislation for the protection of traditions and practices of Sabarimala.”
Rajnath Singh is holding a roadshow today in Puthupally constituency of Kerala.
The BJP in their manifesto for the upcoming Kerala Assembly Elections promised a new law to protect the traditions of Sabarimala temple.
The Election for the 140-member Kerala Assembly will be held in a single phase on April 6 and the counting of votes will take place on May 2.
