Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday (March 30) said that the High Command in Puducherry has failed on all fronts.
While addressing an election rally in Puducherry, Prime Minister said, “In the long list of non-performing Congress Governments over the years, the Puducherry Government has a special place. The High Command Government of Puducherry has failed on all fronts.”
“I have a reasonably long experience in politics and have seen many elections, but the Puducherry election 2021 is unique because the sitting Chief Minister has not been given a ticket,” said PM Modi.
“The NDA Government will work towards making Puducherry a business hub, education hub, spiritual hub and a tourism hub,” he said.
The election for 30 assembly seats in Puducherry will be held on April 6 and the counting of votes will take place on May 2.
