Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a public rally in Madurai on Friday (April 2) said that voting for National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is a vote for more investment and development in Tamil Nadu.
“A vote for NDA is a vote for better investment in the region. We are creating the right atmosphere for more industries to come here, especially agro-industries. In this year’s Union Budget, we have announced a series of economic corridors, one of them is Madurai-Kollam corridor. Funds allocated for railway infrastructure have increased,” said PM Modi.
“We have started Jal Jeevan Mission to ensure tap water connections in all the houses by 2024. In Tamil Nadu, over 16 lakh tap water connections have been provided since the launch of the mission,” he said.
PM Modi said that the people of Tamil Nadu have a strong mind and a big heart. The Assembly Elections in Tamil Nadu will be held in a single phase on April 6 and the counting of votes will take place on May 2.
