Campaign for the third phase of West Bengal election for 31 Assembly seats that will go to polls on April 6 ended on Sunday (April 4).
Polling in 60 Assembly constituencies in the south western parts of the State was conducted in the first two phases.
These 31 Assembly constituencies are in three districts — Howrah, Hooghly and South 24 Parganas. There are 205 candidates in fray in 31 seats of which 8 are located in Hooghly district, 7 in Howrah and 16 constituencies in South 24 Parganas district. Twelve of the 31 constituencies are reserved for Scheduled Caste candidates.
