Amid increasing number of COVID 19 cases, the Government on Monday directed airlines to serve or sell inflight meals only on those domestic flights that have a duration of over two hours.
This decision has been taken amid fears that the passengers might take off their mask in order to eat which may lead to spread of the virus. This decision does not apply to flights which have a duration of over two hours as inflight meals can’t be avoided on during long hauls.
There are no restrictions on inflight meals on International flights as of now.
