Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, who arrived in Belagavi to campaign for party candidate, on Wednesday claimed that the BJP candidate Mangala Angadi will win Belagavi Lok Sabha seat in the April 17 by-election with a margin of four lakh votes.
Speaking to the media at Sambra Airport, he declined to reply to a question whether his frequent visit to the constituency is out of fear of the party losing the election as claimed by Congress candidate Satish. “I don’t react to his statement, it is our duty to campaign for party candidates in the election.”
To another question on Covid-19, Mr Yediyurappa said that he has already convened a meeting of all party leaders on April 18.
