Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath declared that the state government will ensure adequate supply of life saving Remdesivir injection as a fresh batch of 25,000 injections has reached UP and the next batch will come within two-three days.

“The Jubilant Pharma has supplied 25000 vials of Remdesivir injections today and within the next two to three days, availability of three lakh of Remdesivir injections is scheduled,” CM said while meeting with Team-11 on Monday.

He said a demand for 2,75,000 Remdesivir injections has been sent to producer companies like Jubilant Pharma, Cadila, Myelin and Cipla. The Cadila and Cipla will supply 1 lakh vials, while Mylene will supply 25000 vials and Jubilant 50,000 vials.

Sources say that Additional Chief Secretary (MSME) Navneet Sehgal is in direct contact with the pharmaceutical companies. He informed that this supply will be ensured within the next two to three days. CM Yogi has given clear instructions that they should be distributed in a transparent manner.
