Karnataka has reported as many as 23558 new COVID-19 cases, highest daily number since the outbreak of the pandemic in the state, in the last 24 hours.
According to official sources, as many as 116 people had died attributed to the COVID-19 disease, in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of fatalities due to the pandemic in the state, so far, to 13762.
The sources also revealed that in the last 24-hours as many as 6412 COVID-19 patients, got discharged in the
state, after being completely cured from the disease.
The sources said that while as many as 176188 active cases of the COVID-19 disease are in various hospitals
across the state, as many as 904 covid-19 patients are being treated at the ICU’s.
The positivity rate in the last 24-hours accounted for 15.47 per cent the case fatality rate stood as 0.49 per cent
