Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa instructed Deputy Commissioners and Police officials to take serious measures to implement lockdown and deal firmly against those who violate.
In a video conference the Chief Minister held a meeting and collected the information on covid -19 second wave situation besides status of the 14-day lockdown.
He said in order to help people, the government has relaxed the curfew every day from 0600 am to 1000 hours, later, they should not come out of their house.
The people should follow the covid guidelines while purchasing essential commodities and officials should strictly take actions against violators, he added
In the meeting Chief Secretary P Ravi Kumar, Deputy Commissioners, top police and Health department officials participated.
