Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has contributed Rs 5.45 Crores, under its Corporate Social Responsibility Fund to the Prime Minister CARES Fund.
BEL will also spend Rs 4 Crore CSR fund to set up Medical Oxygen Generation Plants in 12 Government hospitals in six states to ramp up their oxygen requirement and help ease the current crisis across the country, according to a release here on Friday.
Last year, the Company had released Rs 10 Crores from its CSR Fund towards the PM CARES Fund, to combat and contain the pandemic in India and also for relief efforts.
