Ahmedabad: Paving way for a setback to the Congress party, Congress working President Hardik Patel resigns from the party. He shared his resignation letter on Twitter, mentioning that the senior leadership of the party lacks seriousness.
Taking to Twitter, the Patidar leader said, “Today, with courage, I am submitting my resignation from the post and primary membership of Congress party. I am hopeful that my decision will be welcomed by each friend and the people of Gujarat. I believe this step of mine will help in working in a positive manner for Gujarat in future.”
Patel also shared his letter with Sonia Gandhi. Hardik Patel, a Patidar activist, joined Congress in 2019 ahead of Lok Sabha elections. Patel also alleges that Rahul Gandhi never took any action on Patel’s complaints against State leaders.
