Kochi: The minor boy, who raised hate slogans in a rally held by Popular Front in Alappuzha has been identified. The boy is a native of Palluruthy, Ernakulam.
Though Police had searched at the minor’s home, there was no one there. Legal action will be taken, and with the support from Child Right Commission, the minor will be subjected to counselling too, said the City Police Commissioner, Kochi. He also told the parents of the boy and those who trained him will face legal proceedings. The minor boy is a member of Junior Front, the junior wing of PFI. The boy had raised similar provocative slogans earlier too.
Two people have been arrested so far .The insistence from the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights accelerated the proceedings. The Commission observed that child right law has been violated and asked to the district administration to make a detailed enquiry.
