New Delhi, June 8 (UNI) India and Iran signed a legal assistance treaty after talks between External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian here today. The Iranian Foreign Minister also met and held talks with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval today.
The Iranian FM, who arrived on Tuesday night on a four-day visit, said the level of Iran-India relations ?is appropriate?, on his arrival in New Delhi. He also noted, “In the exchange of delegations between the two states, particularly in the incumbent government, there is the growth of comprehensive ties, including in economic and cultural areas,” Iranian media said.
He is also visiting Mumbai and Hyderabad, as part of his visit.
