Thiruvananthapuram: Ban has been imposed for media to attend and report Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s function in the state capital today. CM’s function is scheduled to take place at EMS Academy, Vilappilsala .
CM’S office had informed the media about the event and later, the concerned authorities said that ban is implemented as it is a function arranged by the party.
At the same time, in the wake of the ongoing protests against the CM, high security has been arranged along the CM’s route. The state police chief has given instructions to the forces to strengthen the security and more armed police have been deployed in the police headquarters.
