Patna, June 17 (UNI) The protesters agitating against Agnipath scheme of the centre, attacked at the residence of Deputy Chief Minister Renu Devi, BJP state president Sanjay Jayaswal and BJP offices during their violent protest on the third consecutive day on Friday in Bihar.
According to police the violent mob attack at the residence of Deputy Chief Minister Renu Devi in Bettiah and pelted stones at her residence. However no one was injured in the incident. Meanwhile, Renu Devi who was scheduled to visit Bettiah during the day is learnt to have cancelled her tour.
Later the mob attacked at the residence of BJP state president Sanjay Jayaswal in Bettiah where
they pelted stones and tried to set ablaze the house shouting slogans against him.
Soon after getting the information, the police reached there and dispersed the mob using mild force upon them.
Meanwhile reacting to the incident Jayaswal said that the protesters had hatched a conspiracy to blow up his house in Bettiah.
The police said that the violent mob had also attract at the vehicle of BJP MLA Vinay Bihari, however the MLA escaped and hurt in the attack.
Earlier the agitating mob on Thursday had attack at the residence of BJP MLA CP Gupta in Chapra
and had targeted the vehicle of BJP MLA Aruna Devi from Newada.
The protestors also attacked the offices of BJP in Madhepuraz Sasaram and Lakhisarai on Friday
after which the security at the offices of BJP were beefed up in the state.
