Kochi: A huge swindling has been detected in Perumbavur, Kochi today where fake bills were produced under the name of scrap deal. Bills worth 250 crore rupees were made by the tricksters.
The startling swindlery was found when the GST wing with the support of armed Police conducted search early this morning. The accused Askar Ali and Rinshad, natives of Perumbavur have absconded. Police is in search of the culprits.
Adhaar cards and voter identity cards of illiterate people were misused so as to make fake registrations . Sleuths also got details of such duped activities under the name of areca nut and plywood business.
