International Yoga Day; BJP with programmes in all districts

Kochi: The BJP is organising extensive programmes in various parts of the state on behalf of the International Yoga Day. Party state president K. Surendran will inaugurate the programme that is being scheduled in Thali Temple, Kozhikode.

Union Minister V. Muraleedharan will attend an event in Thiruvananthapuram. The programme will take place in the premises of Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Thiruvananthapuram. Other BJP leaders including P. Sudheer, O.Rajagopal and P.K. Krishnadas will also attend the function.

In other areas, several programmes are being arranged and will be attended by A.P.Abdullakutty in Kasargod, Kummanam Rajasekharan in Kollam, A.N.Radhakrishnan in Kottayam, C. Krishnakumar in Idukki, George Kurian In Pathanamthitta and M.T.Ramesh in Kozhikode.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the Yoga Day programmes from Mysore. Along with the PM 15,000 people will join in Yoga Practices today. On behalf of the 75th anniversary of Indian independence, union ministers will inaugurate functions in 75 centres.

Union Minister Ajay Bhatt will preside over the functions in Wagah border. Union minister Jithendra Singh will inaugurate Yoga day celebrations in Jammu and Minister Bharati Pawar in Anantnag Martanda temple.
