Mumbai, June 20 (UNI) Five candidates of the Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday won elections to 10 seats in the Maharashtra Legislative Council.
The winners are Pravin Darekar, Ram Shinde, Shrikant Bharatiya, Uma Khapre and Parsad Lad.
With this victory, BJP’s all candidates have secured a seat in the Upper House of Legislature.
While two candidates each of the ruling allies Shiv Sena and NCP won the polls, officials said.
