New Delhi: Though the country records a slight drop in covid spread, Kerala stands high again in covid cases.
India’s total covid case remained continuously above 10,000 for last some days, but today the digits declined. 9923 confirmed cases have been registered today. This marks a decline of 22.4 % compared to the previous day.
17 deaths reported, taking the death count to 5,24,890. The health department said that 79,313 patients are under treatment. Active cases show a spike of 2,613 patients than the last day. 7,293 people recovered from the infection.
Kerala is among the five states recorded highest number of cases. Kerala contributes 28.08 % daily positivity rate in the whole nation. The other states that record higher covid cases are Maharashtra, Delhi, Tamil Nadu and Haryana.
