New Delhi: In the midst of the ongoing political crisis in Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray has been invited to Assam by the Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. He invited all MLAs including Uddhav Thackeray to come and spend the vacation in Assam.
He said he cannot lockdown the hotels, as a reply to the question of the media about granting accommodation facilities for MLAs from Maharashtra.
“How can it be right if people come to Assam and I lock up all the hotels?” he asked
It is good if the rebel MLAs continue staying in Assam. So I invite everyone, he added.
Meanwhile, Uddhav Thackeray is still firm on his decision to prove his majority in the assembly. Four more MLAs recently have joined the rebels group led by Eknath Shinde and this raised their total membership to 50.
