Thiruvananthapuram: The Government has submitted a written report today in the assembly explaining Kerala’s debt details. As per the report, the State Government’s debt has reached up to 3,32,291 crore rupees till 31 March. The Government indicts flood and corona as the reasons for such a big burden.
The Government has also informed the assembly that it will not release white paper. Government’s report explains that comparing to the debt of 2010-2011 financial year, it has hovered more than double now.
Minister K Radhakrishnan, on behalf of the Finance Minister , informed the assembly that though the debt is huge, it will not affect State’s development.
