New Delhi: The life of the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will soon appear on reels. The film will be an adaptation of the book Untold Vajpayee: Politician and Paradox by N.P.Ullekh. It is learned that the film named, ‘Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon Yeh Desh Rahna Chahiye’ will begin its shooting in the beginning of 2023. The film will be produced by Vinod Bhanushali and Sandeep Singh together. The release of the movie is planned to be arranged on 2023 December 25, on Vajpayee’s 99th birthday.
Vajpayee was a politician and diplomat who had been the Prime Minister of India for 13 days in 1996, for 13 months in 1999 and for five years from 1999 to 2004. He was actively involved in Indian politics for 5 decades and was elected to Rajya Sabha for several times. He had retired from his political life in 2009 and later marked his active involvement in writing.
His Birthday is celebrated as the Governance Day in India. This was the first decision taken after the Modi government came to power in 2014.
