Jaipur: Rajasthan police give rewards to the police officers who arrested the culprits in the murder of tailor Kanhaiya Lal on false charges of blasphemy. The reward was given to five police officers who arrested the Islamic terrorists Riyaz Akhthari and Gaus Mohammad, immediately after filing the case. The State Home Department has also recommended promotions for them.
The culprits were caught by five officers Thejpal, Narenra, Shoukhath, Vikas and Goutham, from Rajasthan police force.
In a message, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the immediate action and vigilance of the police was a great help in maintaining the law and order of the state.
The Udaipur incident is meant to create a terror atmosphere in the state. There is no space for terrorism in Rajasthan. Investigative agencies suspect that the terrorists have connections with Pakistan. All the attackers will be caught, said Ashok Gehlot.
