Jaipur: Three people were arrested in Rajasthan for espionage. They were arrested on charges of spying for Pakistan Information Agencies.
23 people were arrested in an investigation conducted in the boundary villages including Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh and Churu. Among them, three were found to be leaking information to Pakistan.
AbduL Sathar from Hanumangarh, Nithin Yadav from Sri Ganganagar and Ram Singh from Churu were arrested.
Intelligence officers said that the culprits shared highly confidential and strategic information and received money from Pakistan.
Since 2010, Abdul Sathar has been visiting Pakistan very often. He leaked information about the Indian Army and major cities.
Nitin Yadav was netted in a honey trap of a Pakistan female agent. It has been found that he has shared information about military movements in Suratgarh and Mahajan Field Firing Range.
Indian investigation officers got the information of espionage after checking the culprit’s mobile phones.
