New Delhi: The Indian Women Cricket Captain Mithali Raj has expressed her thankful note and joy on receiving a letter from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She said she feels really proud to receive such an encouraging letter.
She had posted her gratitude on twitter. She added that it is a great honour to receive a letter from PM, who is a role model for many Indians and Mithali ended the note by sharing hope in her contribution to the development of the Indian sports sector as mentioned in the letter.
Mithali declared her resignation from Indian cricket on June 8th this year. She said even if she resigned from the matches, she will continue her practices.
Mithali started her cricket career during 1999 and scored 7,805 runs from 232 matches and 699 from test matches.
