New Delhi: It is informed that the Power Motors, an associate company of Great Wall Motors, a Chinese vehicle manufacturing company, has closed the working of its plant in India. It shuts down its operations in India without being able to launch a single product.
As per reports, the company dismissed its employees in all fields including the marketing, networks, planning, strategy, services, HR, finance, quality, production and R & D. It is also said that the dismissal was on an immediate basis.
The Chinese company entered the Indian market through the 2020 Auto Expo. The company made its debut in the Indian market with the launch of the premium mid-size SUV, the Haval F7.
The Great Wall Company had introduced their plant in India with an intention of making a huge profit. But soon after the Galwan attack, an anti Chinese wave emerged in the country.
All the plans of Great Wall Motors failed as the Indian people were averse to many Chinese companies.
