Ranchi: Extreme Islamists have come up with strong protests against the traditional school prayer in a school at Garhwa in Jharkhand. The national media has reported the news.
The extreme Islamists reached the school compound and created issues in demand to stop the traditional prayer. They said they were the majority and there is no need to conduct prayers with folded hands. They also demanded to change the prayer according to their religious practices.
Normally the school prayer starts in a posture of folded hands and it ends with heads leaning downwards. But since few months the Muslim extremists come up with demands to stop this custom.
For several months, they come to school and make noises.
Even Though the principal asked them to stop making noises inside the school premises, they were not ready to obey his order and hence the authority was forced to change the prayer.
