Thrissur: The POCSO court has rejected the bail plea of actor Sreejith Ravi in connection with indecent exposure case. He has been remanded for 14 days.
Sreejith got arrested this morning for exhibiting before two children. Earlier too, the accused had allegedly flashed two girls and got arrested from Palakkad.
Three days back, Sreejith Ravi reached in a car and flashed girls of 14 and 9 years of age. The authorities checked the CCTV footages near the park and conducted probe based on the car’s details. Police informed that the girls identified the accused.
Sreejith’s lawyer informed the court that the accused is undergoing treatment for paraphilia, and produced medical documents of his treatment. But the prosecution argued that the submitted documents carry today’s date. The prosecution also mentioned that if bail is granted, that will be a wrong message to the society.
